Description

Burton Snowboards was founded in 1977 by Jake Burton Carpenter out of his Vermont barn and helped grow snowboarding from a backyard hobby into a world-class sport by creating new products, supporting a team of top snowboarders and pushing resorts to allow snowboarding. It designs and makes snowboards, boots, bindings, outerwear and other gear for snowboarding and the outdoors, and describes itself as a sustainability leader in winter sports.
