Description

AS first appeared on 6 December 1967, founded by the Montiel family, who had published a sports weekly in the 1930s. Grupo PRISA took over the paper in 1996, and under director Alfredo Relaño AS reached record sales; today it covers football, motor sport and much more in print and online.
