Description

DMM was founded in 1981 as Moorhouse Engineering in Bethesda, Wales, and moved to Llanberis in 1986, where it still makes climbing hardware. It makes rock and ice protection, snapgate and locking carabiners, ice axes and work-positioning lanyards such as the Nomad. It has grown from four employees in 1981 to just over 200 and celebrated 40 years of manufacturing in 2021.
