Description

Dolfin makes competitive and athletic swimsuits, swim-team gear and personalized team swimwear, including its Dolfin Uglies line, operated by Elite Sportswear, L.P. of Reading, Pennsylvania. The company was founded in Shillington, Pennsylvania, as Reading Airchutes, Inc., a supplier of cargo and bomb parachutes to the U.S. Air Force in World War II, then became Jean Vernon, Inc., a lingerie maker, before moving into swimwear.
