Description

Factor Bikes is a high-performance bicycle maker that calls itself an engineering-first brand, building what it says are the fastest UCI-legal road, aero, gravel and triathlon racing bikes. Its story begins with Rob Gitelis, a 1990s WorldTour pro and chemical-engineering graduate of the University of Miami, who went to Taiwan in 1996 and pioneered early uses of carbon fibre in performance bikes. Factor says it owns its whole process, from research, design and engineering to prototyping, testing and manufacturing.
