Description

Firstbeat provides physiology-based analytics for sport and well-being, turning heartbeat data into personal insight on exercise, stress and recovery for strength and conditioning coaches, sport scientists and wellness professionals. It was founded in 2002 in Jyväskylä, Finland's sports-science hub, and says hundreds of elite teams use it. On June 30, 2020, Garmin Ltd. acquired Firstbeat Analytics Oy, the consumer technology licensing business, while Firstbeat Technologies kept its focus on sports and corporate wellness.
