Description

GoMacro makes organic, plant-based protein bars, called MacroBars, in flavours such as Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate + Macadamia Nuts. It began in 2004 after Amelia Kirchoff adopted a plant-based diet while fighting breast cancer and created the original MacroBar recipe in her kitchen on the family farm in Wisconsin. With her daughter Jola she first founded MacroTreats, selling macrobiotic cookies from a 240-square-foot milk shed in the family barn, before adding MacroBars.
