Description

GU Energy Labs makes sports nutrition products, including energy gels, chews and electrolyte hydration products. Its founder, Dr. Bill Vaughan, created the first energy gel in 1993 in the kitchen of his Berkeley, California, home to help his ultra-running daughter take in nutrients during long trail races without stomach problems. GU says it is a family-owned company whose mission is to help active people reach their highest performance with scientifically formulated nutrition.
