Description

Hanwag is a Bavarian maker of mountaineering, trekking and hiking boots. Since 1921 it has made functional footwear at its headquarters in Vierkirchen near Munich, and it says it stands for handcrafted workmanship, technical expertise, durability and tradition. Its designers develop boots with professional alpinists, trekkers and mountain guides, and the company says it has grown steadily over the decades from a small village workshop rather than through rapid expansion.
