icebreaker is a merino wool clothing brand born in New Zealand in 1995 that says it pioneered natural performance apparel. It uses merino wool at the core of its range and reports that 84% of its materials are merino wool, citing transparency, responsibility and nature-inspired innovation as its values. In its 2018 transparency report, icebreaker said it had become part of the VF Corporation family.
