Description

Oura began in 2013 in Oulu, Finland, founded by Petteri Lahtela, Kari Kivelä and Markku Koskela, who came from the city's tech industry, including Polar and Nokia. The company's smart ring measures sleep and recovery, and its original name, Jouzen, came from the Finnish word for swan before it was renamed Oura.
